Lilly Summer!!!

This has been a rough week for a lot of people and I want all the storm victims (I hate that word) more like people effected by these horrible storms to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I wish there was something that I could do to help. I am completely broke-as usual-so I am not able to donate money, but I am praying for everyone effected. I have had a lot of people from Alabama come and stay with us this week and there stories just break my heart. I know its not much, but at least I can offer a good rate on a room and somewhere for families to regroup.

This has been kind of a dreary week for me with the storms and a wonderful sinus-allergy-cold gunk I have been carrying around. I could use some color to brighten up my world and what better way to do that than to show ya'll my favorites from the Lilly summer collection!!! Nothing makes me smile like Lilly!

Bettty Short-I really like longer shorts, these are too cute!

Clare dress silk-This dress is available in a bunch of the new, cute patterns, but this is one
of my favorites. I have to get something in this pattern pretty soon-it just makes me smile!

Eliot Shirt-Like it with shorts or as a cover-up.

Buttercup Shorts-Not a huge fan of this pattern, but all the styles I like seem to be in it.
Love the scalloped edges-definitely a unique look.

Emily Crew Dress-I adore this dress. Love that its pink and green of course, but I
am a huge fan of the jersey material.

Karen Top-Again I love the details. This would be a perfect work shirt for me.

Madison Dress-I like every thing about this: the unique design, the colors, the length, perfect!!!

Mitzie Pant-What's not to love about seersucker capris??? Another great item I could wear to work.

Shauna Tunic Dress-Tunic dresses are also favorites of mine!

And I can't forget beach time!!

Shelly Jelly Sandals-I don't know if I have shared with you all or not, but
I am obsessed with flip flops! I have a large tub of them and parting with any of them
is SUPER hard for me. For every one that goes another must replace it! I will be
purchasing these for sure!

I hope these clothes brightened your day too! I have to say we had the best group in house this weekend. The Music City Marathon was this weekend here in Nashville and it has become one of my favorite events of the year. The people that come in and participate are some of the nicest guests we have all year. I really enjoyed getting to know some of them over the past few days and they have helped me remember why it is I love my job so much!

Every year about this time I always say I want to run the half marathon next year. Well I am declaring on here, so that means I have to be accountable to you all-funny how I actually do things when I say I will on here-and my friend Laurie wants to do it to. So I now have a training buddy, we are talking about getting with a team to train with, and our first walk-run might be for team in training. I got a brochure about it in the mail the other day. We will see, but I am headed in the right direction for sure.
