Pink and Green Thursday!
Once again, I apologize! Today was another day and I am posting this after midnight, but better late than never. It is one of my favorite posts of the week, Pink and Green Thursday!
I found lots of fun images today, that are springy and really brightened my day! As I said yesterday, it has been super rainy here, but the sunshine came back today. There have been terrible storms in our area, and so many people came into the hotel tonight that lost power, houses, pictures, everything. I felt so bad for them and wished I could do more than offer a bed and a warm shower at a good rate. I pray for each and everyone of them and for you as well, if you were a victim of these horrible storms. Hope you enjoy this pink and green pics!!!

Springtime and BEAUTIFUL flowers. |
I found this pic a while ago and just love it. Can't believe someone made crayons so pretty. |
LOVE this room. Not really one I would create, but love all the pink and green. |
Can you believe this is a cake??? |
I don't like riesling very much, but I of course would buy this in a heart beat. |
I love these balloon pics (as you will see below) they remind me of being a kid (I am actually still a kid) and freedom. Just floating away into the sunshine. |
It would have been amazing to witness this! So gorgeous. |
Not crazy about the shoes, but the bows just call my name! |
Hope some of these pics brightened your day too. There is only one day left to enter my adorable, precious first giveaway. I only have about 40 or so entries, so you still have a really good chance!!! Sorry for the few words this week, it has just been a very crazy one for me!
Happy Thursday/Friday!

What I love Wednesday
So I am a little late on this post today, but I figured better late than never! I have previously told ya'll how I have been going through this mountain of magazines I have accumulated over the past few months and cutting out lots of fun stuff to make 2 ginormous collages/hang up on the walls of our horribly messy spare bedroom dressing room if we ever get it completed. I have come across tons of fun stuff that I can't wait to share with you, but one thing that I really love is the JCrew bridal collection! All of these can be found online at JCrew.
I really loved the bridesmaids dresses, wasn't that thrilled with the bridal gowns, but I did find a few that I liked for a more lowkey wedding.

I was really surprised by all these cute dresses and great prices. They are all very affordable, come in a variety of wonderful colors, different fabrics, and are just so cute! If I am ever married-not on my list of things to do-it will be Lillified of course, but some of these dresses in that bubble gum pink would be very welcome!
It has been very very rainy around here the past few days and I am lovin these beach pics! It is just calling my name!!! All images courtesy of Tumblr #beach.
Just a few short months and Kat and I will be there. I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Here's to Sand, Sun, and Surf!!!
I am also LOVING my first GIVEAWAY!!! I don't have to many entries and it is just adorable!!! Please enter-you have until Friday at midnight!!!

Weekly Graitude List
Hey Everyone! Hope you all had a Happy Easter and a great weekend. I feel so blessed today and the best way to reflect this for me is a gratitude list. They also help me when I am having a bad day. I can always go back and re-read them and remember how blessed I am. Don't forget to enter my first giveaway, its a cute one!
1. I am grateful that the Easter Bunny remembered me today! I was a little sad missing my family yesterday, but look what I got in the mail today!
I am so grateful for my Mom. She is the best ever. Her surprises are the best and I just wish I could see her more. I was just looking at my gas tank wondering how I would fill it up until payday and this came in my Easter Card. What a blessing!
2. I am grateful for the new life I saw yesterday. We live in a complex with 3 ponds and a bunch of Geese, Ducks, Turtles, Frogs, and Domestic Geese (which are so loud and annoying). Look what I spotted yesterday while sitting on my balcony:
New baby geese!!! They are so adorable. I felt like God put them there on Easter just for me. He was showing me the rebirth in another way. So incredible, they are just precious.
3. I love free stuff and was so grateful to get these cuties in the mail today:
Another preppy little item to add to my car. Thanks Vineyard Vines!
4. I am grateful to be able to listen to podcasts from my church in Lexington, Southland Christian, even though I can't be present. Jon Weece, the minister, is just amazing. His words always touch me so much. They often do series, where 4 or 5 sermons in a row all relate to a certain topic. On my walk yesterday I started the Pretender Series and got a lot out of the first sermon. It was talking about how we all wear masks and try to be what other people expect us to be, when in reality the only person's expectations we have to meet are Gods. This really struck me since most of my life I have lived up to my Mom's expectations, work expectations, my expectations, etc. I have been able to grow a lot in the past couple of years, but this really hit home for me.
5. I am grateful that I was given 3 days off in a row! I have really been able to rest and get some things done around the house. Anyone who has been reading my posts knows that work has been a little stressful for me lately, but its comforting to know that God seems to be working it all out for me. I have really been trying to rely on him lately and its so cool when I step back and let him do his work. Everything seems to fall into place-imagine that!
6. I am so grateful I have been able to go through our 100+ magazines that have been getting stacked up while I haven't had time to read through any of them! I have been going through the pile this weekend and have found so many cute things to put on my inspiration board. I have been wanting to make a new one for a while, I love making collages, but haven't had the time. I have also found some great recipes, giveaways, and diy projects I can tackle if I ever have more time.
7. I am so grateful for the warm weather we have been having. It really boosts my mood and makes me smile!
8. I am grateful for some new special friends I have made. New friends always make me smile! One that I have known for a while, but really gotten to know better, is in a situation I was in a few years ago with no car. I happily give her rides to work and other places. I am so grateful to be able to pay it forward and get to know someone special at the same time.
9. I am grateful for all my fellow bloggers. This has become a wonderful outlet for me. I love reading your blogs, seeing new followers, and reading all the sweet comments. You all really brighten my days!
10. I am so grateful to be hosting my first giveaway. I haven't had many people enter yet, and its so super cute. Please enter, you will love the item!!! It also made me feel really good that the Dahl house asked me to host this, I guess I am doing an ok job of blogging.
Happy Monday!

Sara

Happy Easter
Happy Easter Everyone!!! He has risen and we are so blessed!!!
"There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and going to the tomb rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the woman (Mary Magdalene), Do not be afraid, for I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, he has risen, just as he said." Matthew 28:2-6
I am still amazed everytime I hear or read those words. I am kind of sad I am not with my family today and the Easter bunny didn't come, but I do get to go to church tonight with Kat and I am getting ready to go to the pool. These pictures did brighten up my morning!
I hope everyone has a fabulous day. Don't foget to enter my giveaway! I am off to enjoy the Sun!
Happy Easter!

Sara
