Happy Spring!!!

So this weekend was so amazing, mainly due to the wonderful weather we had here in Nashville-80s every day and sunny. Now that is my kind of weather!!! I LOVED it. The sunshine has such a wonderful effect on my mood and this weekend was no exception. I sat outside on the balcony overlooking the lake and read Hunger Games and The Fixer Upper by Mary Kay Andrews. They were fabulous and I can't wait to read the next 2 books in the Hunger Games series. Check them out-Mary Kay Andrews is definitely one of my favorite authors.

Due to the first day of spring and beautiful weather I am a little behind on the 30 day challenge from Cait at Fierce, Fit, and Fabulous.

Yesterday was Day 20 and was a picture of somewhere you would like to travel. I posted last week about 2 gorgeous places I would like to go Before I die , but with all this warm weather I am ready for the beach. I am always ready for St. Simons Island, Ga, but I have posted about that a few times as well. My Dad and his fiance are taking her grandaughter on spring break to Destin in the first week of April and she called me the other day and invited me to go. I have been all over the world, but have actually never been to Destin.

All I need is the beach, the ocean, and the sunshine and I am set. I have a lot of friends that have been to Destin so I already know I will really like it. Now it depends on work and frequent flyer miles. So I will keep you updated.

Today's challenge was a picture of something you would like to forget.

Winter Winter Winter Winter Winter. I hate it and would like to never have to experience it again. The precious dog in this picture, Maycie, is someone I love dearly and I will NEVER EVER forget. She is one of my best friend's dogs, Mindy, and sadly they moved to Houston. I miss both of them terribly. Anyway, I hate winter.Had the cold, the snow, the freezing temps, everything about it. I am so happy to leave it behind.
